Shortcuts
I tend to use keyboard shortcuts rather than the mouse these days. You may find the following of use:

- ⌘ = COMMAND
- ⌥ = OPTION
- ^ = CONTROL
- ⇧ = SHIFT
- ⌘ + A = Select All
- ⌘ + B = Bold
- ⌘+ F = Find (search)
- ⌘ + I – Gets Info (or Italics in Office)
- ⌘+K = Go to server
- ⌘ + N – New instance – new internet page in browser, New finder window on desktop, new Word doc in Word, etc
- ⌘+P = Print
- ⌘ + Q = Close program
- ⌘+S = Save
- ⌘ + W – Close window
Copy and Paste trio:
- ⌘+C = Copy
- ⌘+X = Cut
- ⌘+V = Paste
More complicated combinations:
- ⌘ + ⇧ + G = Go to folder
- ⌘ + ⌥ + Esc – Force quit
- ⌘ + ⌥ + ⇧ + ESC = Kills programs
- ^ + Space + 3 = Print Screen
- ^ + SPACE + 4 precise screen cap or use grab
- ⌘ + ⇧+4 = Select for screen grab
- ⌘ + ^ + Q = Lock screen
- ⌘ + ⇧ + Q = close apps and log out
- ⌥ + F2 = Display then ⌘ + L = Sys preferences
At boot up:
- ⌘+ D = runs diagnostics
- ⌘ + ⌥ + R = will use internet recovery to boot to the latest OS that the machine can support.
