Menopause symptoms

There are 33 recognised symptoms of menopause. Yup, 33!

(I would actually say there were more, but these are the currently recognised symptoms).

I’ve listed them below, and there are links to some of the more debilitating symptoms that I have had the pleasure of experiencing.

I’m betting at the start of your journey, like me, the only ones you knew about were the hot flushes, weight gain and irritability. Because this is what people make fun about.

In my journey, I can hand on heart say that I have experienced all but two (increase in allergies and thinning hair, in case you are wondering). And I can tell you, there is nothing fun about it.

My motivation for writing these pages was to help others. Especially those yet to experience the menopause. It needs to be taken seriously. It needs to be spoken about. But most importantly, you need to know there is help out there to support you.
