I don’t have much to say about palpitations. I do have them. They are annoying but generally they don’t happen often or for long.
There has been one exception. It was the first palpitation and was particularly bad. And happened, typically, whilst I was driving. Never a good time to experience anything new!.
I was on my way home from a visit to Norfolk, and had reached the junction where the A14 splits into the A11 for Stansted.
My heart started to hammer. And I started to feel very light headed. I honestly thought I was going to pass out.
I was already committed to the A14 lane, leaving the immediate hard shoulder to the A11 lane. And coming at me was the road division barriers.
Thankfully, the road wasn’t busy, as I started to hit the brakes.
But snap of a finger and all was back to normal. Thankfully! And my journey continued with no further drama.
It was rather alarming, though.
Since then, I have experienced more palpitations, but never to this extreme.
